Weekly Points Totals, Challenge, and Five Minute

*UPDATED* This is not the first week for July. See my comment in comments section. This will again be practice and preparation.*
This is the first week of our new, real competition for July. I am sponsering an AWESOME prize, so everyone put on your game faces. The last 2 weeks were good practice, but I'll admit I wasn't the best. As a result, I didn't do either weekly challenge and only a few five minute challenges. So, for this week you can choose either of the last 2 challenges (car or closets) and your own mix of the last 2 sets of five minutes which include:
1. Clean the inside of a garbage can
2. Deep clean the kitchen sink
3. Vacuum along baseboards
4. Mop an additional surface besides the kitchen
5. Post weekly menu on recipe blog
6. Wash sheets
7. Organize purse/diaper bag
8. Sanitize door handles / light switches
9. Dust TV / computer screens
10. Clean microwave

If you were on the ball and did all these challenges then you get free points this week! We'll start the rotation of assignments next week, as follows:
Weekly: Brenda
5 minute: Andrea
Tips: Charlotte
GOOD LUCK!

I remember a time...

...when I used to sweep and mop the floor...
...when I used to fold and put away my laundry...
...when I used to make my bed...
...when I used to clean my bathroom...
... oddly enough, this all coincides with the time this strange bump appeared on my stomach...
Thought you guys could use a self-confidence booster today. Our house has gotten so bad that even my husband has said it's gotta change. Even though I'm working all day this week, I'm going to get a perfect score! Just watch!

Weekly Challenge

Okay. Here is another weekly challenge that I am in desperate need of. Again. I'm pathetic. We are going to go with closets. Personally, this means my master closest and also Tyler's closet. I'm putting away all of his baby items (burp cloths, receiving blankets, little crocheted hats, etc etc) and packing them up for the attic and "big boy"ing up his room. Although, let's face it. It is a nursery, decorated as such, and with a crib. Thus, will never be completely Big Boy. Which is perfectly fine with me :)

Good Luck and Happy Cleaning!

5 Minute Challenges

1. Wash the sheets on at least one bed.
2. Clean out purse or diaper bag
3. Sanitize door handles and light switches
4. Dust/Clean TV and computer screens
5. Microwave

Practice Week 2

Okay, lazy ladies. This is practice week 2. Next week begins the real competition. Last week, I did okay, but forgot quite a bit about those things that I used to be doing every day. For some idiotic reason, I spent hours in my attic cleaning and never got to my car. I'll post pics of my attic though, it is an amazing transformation. This week I'm going to hustle it up though and get those habits re-established....are you with me????
Good luck. Keep track of points here.

Weekly Challenge

I know, I know. You should have come to expect as much from me now. The weekly challenge is a vehicle. I was pulled over today (don't worry I didn't get a ticket) but I was so supremely embarrassed for the police officer to come up to my car because it was so trashed. Sheesh.

5 minute challenges

1. Clean (as in wash) the inside and outside of a garbage can or two.

2. Deep clean the kitchen sink.

3. Vaccum along the edges of your floors (by the baseboards)

4. Mop one additional surface besides your kitchen (bathroom, entryway, stairs, whatever)

5. Post your weekly menu on the recipe blog.

I'm Baaaaccckkk!

I looked around my house today and realized that it was not as clean as it was most of last year. The reason?? this silly blog. So anyway, I'm ready to start up again. I realize it is the middle of a month, so we can count the rest of June as a warm up and then I'll contribute a prize to the July winner. So, everyone get ready. I'm posting 5 min challenges and a 30 min challenge for the week. Keep track of your points on this post.
